Domotex Celebrates Successful Comeback, Announces New Format

Hannover, Germany, January 16, 2023-After having to cancel Domotex two years in a row due to the pandemic, the 2023 event welcomed more than 730 exhibitors in eight halls, and 69% of attendees were from abroad.

“We are overwhelmed by the positive response as well as the energetic spirit of this year’s Domotex,” says Sonia Wedell-Castellano, global director of Domotex. “What also pleases me is that the quality of visitors at the show is outstanding,” she adds, noting that the “decision-maker share” is 80%.

Many exhibitors have already confirmed their participation for 2024, and two-thirds of trade visitors said they would visit the next show, according to Domotex organizers.

Domotex 2024 will take place January 11 to 14, 2024 at the Hannover exhibition center–the first of the show’s new biennial format. Domotex will then be held only in even years, a change from its annual format.

Sustainability was a leading focus at this year’s show, which ran January 12 to 15, and will again be a guiding principle for the 2024 show, Wedell-Castellano notes.
