Chicago Designer Wins Patcraft’s Arizona Resort Ge

Dalton, GA, July 29–-Jeff Nelson of the Chicago design firm Techno Limited will undoubtedly enjoy the trip for two to the resort hotel and spa Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, AZ, won at Patcraft Commercial Carpet’s booth during NeoCon 2005. Nelson’s name was chosen at random from among hundreds of entrants who visited the Patcraft exhibit during NeoCon. And while Nelson will surely enjoy the stay in sunny, scenic Arizona, his wife, Heather, may enjoy it even more. "I have to tell you honestly, I entered the drawing for my wife, Heather," he says. "After having our third child together, I figured she could use a little break. The funny part of all this is Heather works for a hotel group and is familiar with the Fairmont. Although she has never visited it, she knew everything about the resort." It is, indeed, notable: The fabulously relaxing Fairmont Scottsdale Princess boasts one of North America’s best spas as featured in Condé Nast Traveler. It also offers guests three award-winning restaurants, championship golf and shopping—all set amidst an idyllic backdrop of desert and mountain surroundings. Relaxing getaway aside, Nelson is also a fan of Patcraft for purely professional reasons, having just completed a project using its products. "We had a client with a unique business color scheme that they wanted to maintain throughout their new headquarters," he explains. "We were drawn to the Patcraft line because of the available matching color selections and the capacity to provide both carpet tiles and broadloom." His Patcraft sales representative, Howard Carroll, was a tremendous help. "He not only provided the color samples we were looking for, he also pulled and suggested alternate color schemes for the client," Nelson concludes.
