Bill's Carpet Fair Founder Morris Helman Dies

Baltimore, MD, July 19, 2010--Morris Helman, founder of Bill's Carpet Fair, one of the largest flooring retailers in the U.S., died July 12.
 
Helman opened Bill's Carpet Fair, now with six locations, in 1960 and at one time employed 200 people in the Baltimore area. He was active in the community as a member of the board of directors of The Grant-A-Wish Foundation of Maryland, now known as Believe in Tomorrow National Children’s Foundation.
