Spartanburg, SC, Jan. 25, 2010–Suminoe Textile of America plans to expand its operations in northern South Carolina.
The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reported that Suminoe will invest $6.5 million to expand in Cherokee County.
The company will convert an existing building into a carpet facility. The company makes seat coverings, flooring and throw mats for automotive manufacturers.
