Industry Veteran Ennis O'Neal, Formerly of Shaw, Dies

Dalton, GA, May 2, 2017-Ennis O’Neal passed away this week after a battle with cancer.

O’Neal focused on product development and design in the U.S. and Europe for over 40 years. For 22 years, he served as the head of Shaw Contract Group. “Ennis was with Shaw for 29 years. He led Shaw Contract design and product development from 1986 to 2009 and led our custom business from 2009 until his retirement in 2015,” says vice president of commercial marketing Brenda Knowles. “Ennis was a key member of our Shaw family and had developed great friendships throughout our organization and in the broader industry. Ennis will be greatly missed.”

O'Neal was a graduate of Georgia Tech and received an MBA from Georgia State.

There will be a small service in West Point, Georgia this week and a larger celebration of life in Marietta in a few weeks. More details to follow.
