As the first to market solution-dyed nylon, Universal Fibers® is a leader in the production of uniquely colorful and high-quality, solution-dyed synthetic filament-based fibers for the flooring, transportation, and performance textile industries. As a leader in the fibers industry, we have pioneered and continue to pioneer sustainable technologies that conserve resources, minimize waste, and protect the environment. Universal Fibers is determined to fulfill the very highest expectations of each of the markets we serve, while providing them with a selection of colors and other qualitative options.

Being a multiple polymer manufacturer, we have product lines that include Nylon 6, Nylon 6,6, PTT, and PET in both single colors and multi-end specialties. In addition to this production versatility, we have the ability to quickly and cost-effectively meet orders of all sizes and technical specifications.

Our mission is continuous improvement, constant innovation, cutting-edge technical support, and conscientious service, all in order to provide our customers with the broadest array of colors and fiber types of outstanding quality, durability, and beauty.

But as Universal Fibers embraces our responsibility to our customers, industries, communities, and world to conserve resources and be a conscientious steward of the environment, we have also developed EarthSmart Technology®. EarthSmart Technology® EarthSmart Technology® has various components including maximizing manufacturing processes and equipment, creating recycled and recyclable products, developing waste saving systems and facility conservation.  It is also an overall attitude of environmental and social concern on the part of the company and its employees.

Universal Fibers was able to create high-quality, postconsumer recycled Nylon 6,6.  This continues our tradition of environmental stewardship. In fact, this tradition includes the successful launch of high postindustrial-content fiber in the early 1990s. Fully certified by environmental manufacturing authorities, we still manufacturer this line today.

We are participating in a variety of efforts, including the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE) and NSF-140 Sustainable Carpet Assessment Standards. From high-quality recycled products to facility conservation, at Universal Fibers we know that respecting the environment isn’t just smart for the planet. It’s smart business.
