Dixie Group To Acquire Robertex Associates

Chattanooga, TN, June 13, 2013 -- The Dixie Group said it is in negotiations to acquire wool carpet maker Robertex Associates.

Robertex owner Bob Rothman would also get a five-year contract with Dixie.

Dixie said the acquisition would allow it to enhance its position in the wool markets with the addition of the Robertex and Carousel product lines.

The deal could close by the end of the month. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
