Armstong Flooring Execs' Compensation Tied to Performance

Lancaster, PA, May 2, 2017-Armstrong Flooring’s top executives will get paid more than they did at Armstrong World Industries, if the young company performs well, reports Lancaster Online.

“Donald R. Maier, Armstrong Flooring president and CEO, got compensation valued at $5.88 million last year, up sharply from $2.16 million in 2015, when he was an Armstrong World executive. However, $4.73 million of his 2016 compensation was awarded under Armstrong Flooring’s long-term incentive plan,” the site reports.

Chief financial officer Jay Thompson, who has since resigned; chief product officer Joseph Bondi; Dominic Rice, senior vice president for global operations and manufacturing; and John C. Bassett, senior vice president of human resources, all received similarly structured compensation packages.
