New York, NY, Dec. 7, 2012 -- Fantesca Winery is alleging that Mohawk’s Dal-Tile is infringing on its trademark, according to a Bloomberg News story.
Fantesca Estate & Winery LLC, a winery in St. Helena, California, says that it started using “Fantesca” in connection with its business and products in 2004 and has registered the mark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Dal-Tile began selling and promoting a line of tile products in 2011 using “Fantesca” to advertise the products, and uses the word in connection with specific wine varieties.
