Menznau, Switzerland, Feb. 28, 2013 -- A longtime employee opened fire at a Kronospan facility in central Switzerland Wednesday.
The incident left three people dead including the assailant, and seven others were wounded, six of them seriously.
Both the suspected shooter and the victims were Swiss.
Police said the man arrived at the premises shortly after 9 a.m., drew a pistol and started firing at people.
Kronospan Chief Executive Mauro Capozzo said that the suspected assailant had been with the company for more than 10 years.
