Surya To Build Corporate Campus in Cartersville

Cartersville, GA, June 9, 2014 -- Indian rug maker Surya said it will invest more than $30 million into a new 1 million-square-foot project in Bartow County.

The project will include its corporate office and distribution facility.

Surya will move from several buildings it occupies in Gordon County as part of a consolidation move.

The new campus will also provide better opportunities for faster growth.

The 250 jobs at the firm's existing operations in Calhoun will be retained, the company said.
