Leading Economic Indicators Fall Slightly

New York, NY, April 18, 2013 -- The index of leading economic indicators unexpectedly ticked down in March for the first time in seven months, according to the Conference Board.

The research group said its gauge of the outlook for the next three to six months fell 0.1% in March after climbing 0.5% in the prior two months.

Economists had expected a slight increase.
