Koufidakis Named President of NFA

Phoenix, AZ, Oct. 8, 2012 -- Phil Koufidakis, owner of Baker Brothers in Phoenix, was elected president of the National Floorcovering Alliance for a two-year term.

Koufidakis was in the wholesale business for 20 years before entering the retail business, which is somewhat unusual in the industry. He was a territory manager for Shaw in the mid-1980s and was also vice president of sales for Stanton.

Baker Brothers has seven retail locations and one design center to the trade.
