Dallas, TX, Nov. 21, 2012 -- Former Dal-Tile President Harold Turk was recently inducted to the National Tile Contractors Association’s Ring of Honor for his lifetime service to the NTCA and contribution to the tile industry.
Turk received the award at Total Solutions Plus 2012, an annual industry-wide event presented jointly by the NTCA, the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association and the Tile Council of North America.
“This was a special day for all of us at Dal-Tile,” said John Turner, Jr., president of Dal-Tile Corporation. “Harold Turk taught us that customer loyalty is the key to our success, so it is profoundly appropriate that our industry’s largest association of tile contractors would honor his leadership and lifetime of dedication to our customers.”
Harold Turk joined Dal-Tile in 1976 as an assistant manager of Warehouse Operations, and held various management roles in sales and marketing. He was promoted to president in 2006, and led the business through 2011. He continues to work with Dal-Tile by leading strategic development activities.
