Consumer Sentiment Edges Down in March

Ann Arbor, MI, March 25, 2011 -- The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey reading was revised down slightly to 67.5 in the final reading for March.

That's down from an initial reported level of 68.2 earlier in the month. It was the lowest level since November 2009 and was shy of the median forecast of 68.0 among economists.
