CARE Takes Part in Illinois Recycling Summit

Dalton, GA, Nov. 19, 2012 -- The Carpet America Recovery Effort was part of the program at the Illinois Carpet Recycling Summit held Oct. 16 in Elk Grove, Ill.

The meeting, which was attended by various stakeholder groups from the carpet recycling industry, focused on increased landfill diversion of carpet and the discussion of both mandated and free market approaches to stimulate the recycling of carpet and carpet pad.
 
Anthony Cline, CARE Operations Manager, discussed CARE's participation in carpet recycling, the group's work with entrepreneurs, and potential opportunities to increase carpet recycling in the Midwest.
