Atlanta Rug Show Presents Annual Awards

Atlanta, GA, Jan. 15, 2013 -- AmericasMart Atlanta presented America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards at the annual winter rug market.

The ceremony is a highlight of the Atlanta International Area Rug Market, which also features the National Oriental Rug Show.

This year's winners included:
• Hand hooked, hand tufted: Amer Rugs and Surya.
• Handmade/hand knotted/flat weave: Obeetee, F.J. Kashanian Rugs, Capa Imports and Anadol Rug Co.
• Machine made: Oriental Weavers, Loloi Rugs, Marcella Fine Rugs and Nourison.
• Licensee: Surya.
• Outdoor: Kaleen.
 
Retailers of the Year for area rugs were Hadinger Flooring, Avalon Carpet Tile & Flooring, and Nebraska Furniture Mart.
