StonePeak Ceramics to Intro New Products at Coveri

Chicago, IL, March 7, 2006--StonePeak Ceramics, Inc., an American tile company that manufactures and markets porcelain ceramic tile for residential and commercial use, will debut two new lines of porcelain ceramic tile at this year's Coverings stone and flooring expo, to be held April 4-7 in Orlando, Fla. StonePeak Ceramics will introduce its Stone collection and Terrain series at booth 2140. "Carefully crafted using the most sophisticated technology, each tile duplicates the beauty and essence of elements found in nature," said Roberto Franceschin, vice president of sales and distribution for StonePeak Ceramics. "Because they mimic natural materials in both color and feel, our tile products have been hugely popular for residential and commercial projects alike." StonePeak's Stone collection emulates natural stone in texture and appearance. Designed to imitate the inherent beauty and simplicity of stone, each through-bodied, unglazed porcelain floor tile contains its own markings, much like those found on stones in nature. The Stone collection is available in four colors, including Silver Grey, Basalt, Royal Red and Imperial Cream and three modulating sizes, including 12"x12", 12"x24" and 24"x24". A range of complementary trims are also available, including Stairtread, Bull Nose, Cove Base, Out Corner and In Corner. The Stone collection is well-suited for residential and commercial uses. The company's Terrain series includes a variety of rich earth tone colors that convey a warm, rustic feel. The Terrain tiles come in two separate glazed finishes that provide each tile with its own unique design by minimizing the appearance of a repeating pattern. The Terrain Plus finish includes an added skid-resistant component that is ideal for commercial uses. Terrain and Terrain Plus tiles are available in five colors, including Tundra, Desert, Dusty Trail, Forest and Moss and two modulating sizes, including 12"x12" and 18"x18'. The Terrain tiles are available with a range of complementary trims including Stairtread, Bull Nose, Cove Base, Out Corner and In Corner. Terrain Plus utilizes the above referenced trims as well as its own Stairtread. In addition to the Stone collection, the company offers four additional unglazed product lines, including Limestone, Marble, Terrazzo and New Basics. The Terrain series rounds out StonePeak's glazed tile lines, which also includes the Café, CastleRock, and Slate series. StonePeak Ceramics is a fully-owned subsidiary of Graniti Fiandre, the multi-million dollar porcelain ceramic tile company based in Castellarano, Italy. Its 628,000-square-foot production facility is in Crossville, Tenn. Company headquarters and showroom are in downtown Chicago.
