Redi Carpet Acquires Select Floorcoverings

Stafford, TX, March 1, 2011 –- Redi Carpet, a major multi-family flooring contractor, said it has acquired Select Floorcoverings, a multi-family flooring contractor with locations in Atlanta and Birmingham, Ala.

The acquisition enhances Redi Carpet’s recent acquisition of Seagull Floors, whose headquarters were also located in Atlanta.

“This acquisition will help strengthen our Atlanta location.  It takes a major step towards helping us become the premier multi-family flooring contractor in that market as well as expanding our services into Birmingham,” said Redi Carpet CEO Greg Waleke in a press release.

The combined entity will be operating in the Atlanta metropolitan area under the name Seagull Select.
