RD Weis Announces Promotions

Elmsford, NY, July 16, 2018-RD Weis Companies and CTS Flooring Group announced the organizational promotions of both Vic Fotia, who will now serve as director of operations for the company’s sports division, PASS, and Chris Dias, who will assume the position of director of operations and logistics for RD Weis.

In his previous role as vice president of operations for RD Weis Companies, Fotia was responsible for overseeing the duties of more than 20 technicians and two night field supervisors in the Elmsford, New York; New York metro; New Jersey and lower Connecticut areas.

Professional Athletic Sports Surfaces (PASS), the company’s new sports division was started last September under general manger Charlie Doherty, a sports flooring expert with a 28-year track record. The division focuses on the turf, event flooring and air structure markets.

With Fotia moving to PASS, RD Weis veteran Dias will assume the position of director of operations and logistics-managing labor, work scheduling, and oversight of the warehouse operation/fleet. Dias will report to Rosa Spoto, VP administration.
