RD Weis Acquires Three Additional Invironmentalist
Port Chester, NY, December 10--RD Weis Companies acquired, effective November 30, three Invironmentalists locations situated in Wallingford, CT, Rochester, NY and Albany, NY.
The Invironmentalists, formerly DuPont Flooring Systems, is the interior services company of INVISTA. This transaction entails the maintenance services business exclusively in these three locations.
RD Weis had previously bought two Invironmentalists locations, in New York, NY and Canton, MA, in June of 2004. The assets in The Invironmentalists New York City location, serving the Greater New York metropolitan area, included the maintenance business along with carpet sales and installation, while the Canton, MA business encompassed maintenance accounts exclusively in the Greater Boston area.
