Mannington Commercial Hosting Greenbuild Forums

Calhoun, GA, Nov. 3, 2009--Mannington Commercial said it is forming Bring Greenbuild Local, a series of events for sharing great ideas, live webcasts and CEU credits from Greenbuild 2009 with designers who cannot travel to Phoenix this year.

“Many designers and architects are telling us that they will not be able to attend, so we have looked for other ways to let them share in the experience,” says Natalie Jones, vice president of commercial brand development.

“We always find Greenbuild to be inspiring, so we are delighted to be bringing designers to the Expo, and bringing the Expo to designers.”

Mannington is hosting Bring Greenbuild Local events in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. These events will include live webcasts led by Jones and Dave Kitts, Mannington’s vice president-environment, along with the winners of its contest for a trip to Greenbuild.

The Bring Greenbuild Local webcasts will include video coverage of information and impressions from the Expo, sustainable trends and what is new in products and services. The city-specific events will also include a CEU course, led by Kitts, that is certified by AIA, ASID and IIDA, on LEED 2009.

After the show, Mannington will post a video compilation of highlights on the tx:style design community site, at http://txstyle-mannington.com, for the broader design community.
