LG Floors Extends Deco Stone Line

Kenilworth, NJ, June 27, 2006--LG Floors extended its Deco Stone luxury vinyl tile commercial flooring line with the introduction of two new collections--called Orbit and Camelot. Both collections are available in nominal 18" x 18" tiles, with a 3.0 mm gauge. Orbit features four metallic colorways called Cassini, Charon, Callisto and Titan--named for a sampling of moons from the solar system. Camelot includes four end-grain wood patterns in a contemporary color palette with names inspired by towns in southwest England, the area most associated with mythical Camelot--Taunton, Tiverton, Dorchester and Salisbury. LG Floors also added to its Deco Wood plank collection with two new wood grains designed to recreate the modern look of bamboo. With these introductions, Deco Stone/Wood is now available in 16 patterns, with more than 100 colorways in traditional and contemporary styles. From upscale and conservative to fanciful and fun, Deco Stone/Wood luxury vinyl tile makes a flooring fashion statement for an array of commercial applications, including retail, healthcare and education facilities. Michael Freedman, executive vice president of Innovision Flooring Corp., the U.S. distributor for LG Floors, said, “These patterns are great additions to our portfolio of flooring choices. Designed to offer a response to specifier interest in unique patterns and textures, Deco Stone/Wood satisfies the functional needs of high-performance areas while delivering fantastic looks.” Richard Wilton, manager of national accounts of Innovision Flooring Corp., added, “We spent a great deal of time in the marketplace prior to our launch at NeoCon showing our new offerings to our customers, as their input is always invaluable. As a result, early response has been very positive.” Headquartered in Korea, LG Chem is a global leader in the industrial materials sector, consistently offering innovations in business processes, technologies and services.
