Karastan Spokesperson Preston To Be at Vegas

Atlanta, GA, July 16, 2008— Karastan’s 2008 “Make A Statement” star, actress Kelly Preston, will be at the World Market in Las Vegas to celebrate Karastan’s 80th anniversary and the grand opening of its showroom.

Preston, who just signed to play the role of Camilla Diamond in HBO’s pilot “Suburban Shootout,” has appeared in a range of films including the critically acclaimed “Jerry Maguire,” “Citizen Ruth” and “For the Love of the Game”. Throughout the year, she has been featured in six versions of Karastan’s “Make A Statement” national print campaign—four for rugs and two for carpet—that have been running in leading home shelter and lifestyle publications.

“We are thrilled to have Kelly with us in Vegas,” says Connie Berry, director of marketing for Karastan. “She has played a pivotal role in driving traffic to our retailers through print ads, point-of-sale materials, consumer e-mails and Website features. It is a great opportunity for our retailers to meet her in person and experience the warm, approachable way she has of connecting with the Karastan consumer.”

Preston will attend the World Market on July 29 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. She will pose for photos and sign autographs at an invitation-only meet-and-greet held in Karastan’s showroom C-896.
