JanelleStyle Pens License Agreement with Chandra R

Smyrna, GA, March 9, 2006--Designer Janelle Jarous Lampp has signed a license with Chandra Rugs, a newly formed business venture. Chandra Tiwari, formerly chairman of Surya Rugs, which he founded in 1986, formed Chandra Rugs last December with son Ravi Tiwari, vice-president. The JanelleStyle collection for Chandra Rugs, consists of 30 new transitional, designs and will carry her signature JanelleStyle brand. It will be launched at the High Point Furniture Market in April. Lampp is a noted designer with a long history in the rug industry. Her success led to the launch of her brand: JanelleStyle, which is licensed by Colonial Mills, Inc. (CMI), Homefires, Surya Rugs and Vinings Rugs. “I am so happy to be working with Chandra Rugs from its inception, says Lampp. “I have known Chandra and Ravi for 20 years and have the greatest respect for their integrity, their achievements in this country, and for the quality of their work. They are creating a JanelleStyle design division that will showcase my designs in a high-profile way. Working with the company’s numerous manufacturers in India, Chandra transforms Lampp’s designs into hand-tufted rugs, controlling every aspect of the process from spinning and dying to weaving.
