Intertech Flooring Names New Safety Director

Austin, TX, June 12, 2008-- Intertech Flooring said it has named Stacy Mueller director of training and safety.

In the newly created position, Mueller will oversee Intertech’s apprenticeship program as well as workforce development and safety programs for the commercial flooring company’s three locations in Austin, San Antonio and Mission, Tex.

Mueller joins Intertech with an extensive background in operations, construction management and public safety. For the past three years, he was project manager with Sta-Mar Construction where he supervised day-to-day operations of multiple residential construction projects. Before Sta-Mar, he worked for six years as operations manager and safety director with Aggregate Haulers, a self-insured trucking company running more than 800 commercial sand/gravel trucks.
