Domotex Middle East Focusing on Interior Design
Dubai, UAE, March 23, 2009--Domotex Middle East has joined with an international interior design group to target region's multi-billion dollar potential for flooring sales.
Domotex said it has fortified the exhibition's dedicated Interior Design for Flooring segment.
The event, May 17-19, will leverage a key partnership with the Association for Professional Interior Designers (APID) to further strengthen the exhibition's status as the premier showcase for new trends and best practices in floorcovering designs.
As part of its line-up of activities this year, Domotex Middle East is offering the Flooring Seminar, a new facet of the exhibition that has been established to provide information about the role of flooring in interior design.
More than 100 professional interior designers and several renowned speakers are expected to attend the seminar, which will facilitate a high-level exchange of ideas about the important role of flooring in interior design and new industry trends.
"Interior design is a very important consideration for all developers as it significantly contributes to the overall character and aesthetic appeal of any development project," said Angela Schaschen, managing director, Deutsche Messe Dubai Branch.
Domotex Middle East will feature Creative Flooring and Designers Corner events.
Domotex Middle East noted that emerging development projects in fast-growing markets such as Qatar, along with the significant fit-out requirements of recently completed projects in leading markets such as the UAE, will help drive demand for interior design solutions in the region.
Domotex Middle East has partnered with APID to develop activities and innovations in the dedicated segment for flooring covering designs that will help certify the event as an important platform for product launchings, networking, benchmarking and business development in the interior design industry.
The Domotex Middle East Creative Flooring segment will offer 'how-to' demonstrations on the latest techniques in installing floorcoverings, particularly in hotels and offices.
The Designers Corner will feature architects and designers who will take part in various seminars as well as showcases and product displays by suppliers of design flooring.
