Ceramics of Italy Names Winners of Cersaie Young Distributor Program

New York, NY, October 25, 2019-Ceramics of Italy is pleased to announce the successful first edition of the Cersaie Young Distributor Program. 

On the occasion of Cersaie, Confindustria Ceramica and EdiCer SpA selected three young North American distributors to attend the show in Bologna, Italy from September 23 to 27. This new, annual initiative brought a younger generation of distributors to Cersaie and exposed them to new products and tile applications being developed by Italian manufacturers. 

The participants were selected based on demonstrated leadership in their companies, a passion for the industry, and a desire to learn more about Italian ceramic tile. The 2019 Cersaie Young Distributor Program included: Eric Glocer, PCC Tile, vice president, Cape Coral, Florida; George Braica, Quality Wood Floors, VP of operations; Phoenix, Arizona; and Justin Sheppard, MII Distributors, president; Bossier City, Louisiana.

The program included a guided tour of the show, educational sessions on sustainability and tile installation, and a visit to an Italian tile factory in Sassuolo to see the production process firsthand.
