Ceramics Italy Opens Entry Period for Destination: Cersaie Program

New York, NY, June 28, 2023-Ceramics of Italy has announced the launch of the third annual Destination: Cersaie | Bologna program. 

Organized by Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) and the Italian Trade Agency, the initiative offers North American architecture and design professionals the chance to win a five-day, CEU-accredited trip to Italy’s culinary capital, Bologna, to attend Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, taking place from September 25 to 29 and celebrating its 40th anniversary. This year, the Italian ceramic industry is excited to open the program to developers as well.

Selected architects, designers, and developers will be invited to join a delegation of industry journalists and professionals from across North America to be taken on a guided tour of the show to see the latest collections, trends, and innovations in Italian ceramic design.

Hand-picked applicants will also be treated to local cultural experiences in and around Bologna, including a memorable trip outside of the city to visit an Italian tile factory and historic balsamic vinegar producer. Ceramics of Italy will cover expenses for a four-night hotel stay and main cabin flight.

Applicants must complete a questionnaire regarding their firm, projects, and why they wish to attend Cersaie. The deadline to apply is July 31.
