Carpet One Names New Ad Agency

Manchester, NH, August 9--Carpet One has announced a new agency partnership with Columbus-based Ten United. After a three-month review, Carpet One selected Ten United to replace its previous agency Doner. Ten United will develop a fully integrated communications program for Carpet One, featuring compelling creative work. The agency intends to position Carpet One retailers as the experts in flooring, driving more traffic into their stores and making the Carpet One brand even more prominent. 'We are excited to be working with Ten United for our new Carpet One marketing campaign," said Dean Marcarelli, Carpet One Co-Chief Operating Officer. "Ten United brings a fresh, innovative perspective to our team and we look forward to developing an impactful campaign that effectively communicates the Carpet One brand point-of difference." Ten United will produce broadcast and print advertising, point-of-purchase and promotional materials and Web content for Carpet One and its retailers. In addition, the agency will develop and manage a national field marketing organization to work with Carpet One retailers throughout the nation to develop local marketing programs tied to the Carpet One brand. Carpet One plans to introduce this new communications program and field marketing initiative this fall. Ten United is one of the nation's leading independent agencies, with 2003 billings of approximately $185 million. Ten United is headquartered in Columbus, with offices in Pittsburgh and Orlando.
