Best Tile Names LaRocca Contractor Sales Manager
Ludlow, MA, February 5, 2007--Best Tile Distributors of New England has appointed Richard LaRocca to the position of contractor sales manager for the Shrewsbury, Massachusetts location. In his new role, LaRocca will be leading Best Tile’s concentrated effort to re-enter the commercial sector with contractor specific training and educational programs aimed at establishing long-term partnerships with tile contractors, and other ceramic tile professionals.

Best Tile, which recently acquired five Boston Tile showrooms, four in Massachusetts and one in Warwick, Rhode Island, has been stockpiling top industry professionals at high positions as part of its new structure and renewed focus on the wholesale and contractor sectors. LaRocca has spent the last 24 years actively involved in the ceramic tile and stone industry in various positions, the last 19 in outside sales, bringing a wealth of experience to Best Tile and the East Coast Tile family.

LaRocca’s long career in the tile industry began in 1983 as an assistant tile installer. Five years later, LaRocca went on to work for a local tile and flooring store where he worked his way up from salesperson to store manager. In 1986, LaRocca went to work inside sales for a large American Olean distributor. He was promoted to outside sales representative one year later.
