Beaulieu to Require CRI Seal on Cleaning Products

Dalton, GA, May 24, 2006--Effective January 1, 2007, Beaulieu of America will amend its product warranty statement to insure proper cleaning solutions and procedures are used in maintaining their products. All products purchased after this date will require the use of carpet care products that have obtained The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) Seal of Approval (SOA) certification to maintain Beaulieu warranties. The following statement will be published in the Beaulieu of America Complete Warranty and Carpet Care Guide: Effective January 1, 2007, all carpet purchased on and after this date require the use of carpet care products that have obtained CRI SOA certification to maintain your carpet’s warranties. Information on SOA certified products can be obtained at www.carpet-rug.com. Effective the date of this notice and unless you have followed the Stain Removal Guide section of the Warranty Brochure, claims for staining and soiling will not be considered if the carpet has not been cleaned and maintained using products that carry the CRI Seal of Approval certification.
