Anderson Names TRC as Canadian Distributor

Clinton, S.C., March 7, 2007--Anderson Hardwood Floors, family owned manufacturers of fine hardwood flooring, has selected TRC Distribution Ltd as a partner in Western Canadian markets to expand the availability of Anderson floors.

TRC will handle distribution from Manitoba to British Columbia, encompassing the four provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. This distribution area serves approximately 9 million customers and makes Anderson floors more widely available.

The extension of distributorship to include all of Canada signals the strengthening of Anderson Hardwood Floors in the Canadian marketplace. With Omni Floorcoverings as the eastern Canadian distributor and the addition of TRC in the west, Anderson will be a major competitor in Canada.

Anderson, an innovative leader of hand-sculpted, hand-crafted hard wood floors, will offer several of its popular collections throughout Canada, specifically the Appalachian, Virginia Vintage, Anderson Pacific, and Medallion collections as well as Carpet One’s exclusive Biltmore Collection.

“The addition of TRC to our distribution team strengthens the picture for us in Canada,” said Mike Beavers, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for Anderson Hardwood Floors. “Just as we are constantly seeking to improve the performance and beauty of hard wood floors, we are also looking for the means to get our superior product into the homes of consumers with discriminating taste. With TRC’s hardwood distribution expertise, Anderson will be more competitive than ever in Canada.”

“As wood flooring becomes more and more popular, it is increasingly important that we add highly recognizable and reliable national brands to our product offering,” said Terry O’Neill, Managing Partner of TRC. “The addition of the Anderson collections widens our scope and allows us to offer a broader variety of styles in every category of hardwood floors, enabling us to best serve our customers.”
