American Marazzi Buys Centers from Interceramic

Sunnyvale, TX, Feb. 9, 2011 -- American Marazzi Tile said it has acquired six wholesale centers  from Interceramic Group.

The centers are located in Phoenix, Anaheim, San Diego, Denver, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City.  The branches will be transitioned within four to six months into Marazzi Tile & Stone wholesale service centers.

“A prime tenet of our business plan is to always explore new channels for growth and take advantage of opportunities to increase market share,” said Marazzi USA CEO Gianni Mattioli. 

The Marazzi Group is headquartered in Sassuolo, Italy and has been producing tile for over 75 years.  Marazzi USA has been domestically producing tile at the Sunnyvale, Texas facility for nearly 30 years.
