Toll Brothers Sees Income, Revenues Surge

Horsham, PA, Dec. 10, 2014 -- Luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers posted a fourth-quarter profit of $131.5 million, or $0.71  a share, compared with a profit of $94.9 million, or $0.53 a share, a year earlier.

That's an increase of 39%.

Fourth quarter revenues of $1.35 billion and home building deliveries of 1,807 units rose 29% in dollars and 22% in units, compared to 2013's fourth quarter totals of $1.04 million and 1,485 units.

"As the housing market progresses through the early stages of what we believe will be an extended and uneven recovery, we are pleased to report significant progress in growing our revenues and profits," Toll Brothers Chief Executive Douglas C. Yearley Jr. said in a press release.

He said he believes the housing recovery has many years to run.
