Tandus Centiva Partners with Philips To Launch Luminous Carpets

Dalton, GA, April 30, 2015—Tandus Centiva and lighting manufacturer Philips have announced a partnership to launch Luminous Carpets, LED lighting paired with light transmissive carpet, in the North American market.

The integration of LED and carpet for the commercial interior design market changes a carpeted floor into a messaging tool for content or advertising. In addition, the material can be linked to an emergency system to direct individuals in the case of a crisis.

Successfully launched in Europe, Tandus Centiva now introduces Luminous Carpets in North America. The carpet is produced by Desso; both Desso and Tandus Centiva are Tarkett companies.
