Starnet Closing in on Carpet Recycling Goal

Darien, CT, April 4, 2014 -- Starnet said its commercial carpet reclamation program said that as of the end of March its members had recycled more than 44.6 million pounds of carpet.

The organization has set a goal of 50 million pounds by 2015. The current total officially stands at 44,681,184 pounds.

Starnet and its members have worked with the Carpet America Recovery Effort on the program. Starnet Members manage the reclamation process, including removal to compliance to certification.
