Sergenian's Floor Coverings Moves Operations & Warehousing

Madison, WI, June 1, 2016—Sergenian’s Floor Coverings announces the move of its distribution center and warehouse, commercial sales division and administrative offices to a new east side location in Madison, Wisconsin.

The retail store at 2805 West Beltline Highway will be unaffected by the move, remaining at its current location.

The new location at 3812 Kipp St. will provide the space the company needs in order to accommodate its substantial business growth. Since early 2012, overall sales have increased nearly 60%, and the number of professional installers on staff has grown 30%, with over 50 presently on staff.

The commercial sales office and library, administrative offices and distribution divisions will vacate the current Fish Hatchery Road location and transition to the new building on Madison’s southeast side by June 1.

For the first time in Sergenian’s history, the company helped plan and design its own building from start to finish, allowing it to tailor the infrastructure to its unique business needs. Accordingly, the new site will double the company’s warehouse capacity, and serve as the headquarters and intake site for its reclamation program.

Sergenian’s has been an active and dedicated member of the Madison community since opening its doors in 1930, providing customers with many different residential and commercial flooring options. The company’s work can be found throughout the city, including some of Madison’s most iconic buildings, such as the Monona Terrace, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and the Overture Center.
