Rubenstein's Receives Accolades for PDX Carpet Recycling

Portland, WA, June 20, 2016—Rubenstein’s Contract Carpet was honored with Starnet’s environment award for the Portland International Airport project, and locally, the Seattle-based company has received a great deal of attention for its work, including a press conference at their airport and news bites on the local ABC and NBC affiliates' news programs.

The company removed 14 acres of the airport’s iconic carpeting and recycled it into a variety of products including luggage tags, benches, ottomans and doormats.
