Q.E.P. Makes Pair of Non-Flooring Acquisitions

Boca Raton, FL, Oct. 23, 2012 -- Q.E.P. Co. has made a pair of acquisitions outside the flooring industry.

The firm said it acquired Imperial Industries, Inc., which through its subsidiary, Premix-Marbletite Manufacturing Co., manufactures and distributes pool, stucco, plaster and roofing products to building materials dealers, contractors and others, primarily in Florida. 

The firm also said it has purchased the assets related to the Ludell brand of striking tools. Ludell tools have been distributed in the U.S. for over 100 years and will continue to be manufactured and distributed in Oklahoma City.
