Nebraska Furniture Mart Suffers Loss from Fire in Flooring Warehouse

Omaha, NE, April 12, 2016—Nebraska Furniture Mart’s main flooring warehouse was impacted by a smoldering fire, which broke out on the morning of April 3 due to a faulty light fixture.

The fire was contained to a few pallets of hardwood by the sprinkler system, but smoke damaged the entire contents of the building.

Fire investigators say damages are estimated at $1.4 million, according to KETV Omaha.
