Mohawk Group Wins Best of Resilient Award

Las Vegas, NV, May 15, 2014 -- The Mohawk Group was awarded the Best of Resilient Flooring for its Hot & Heavy collection at the 2014 Hospitality and Design Expo and Conference.

Products are judged for design innovation, technical advancements, cost and value, environmental responsibility, aesthetics, need, and usage within hospitality applications.

Performance, comfort, safety, suitability for intended use, durability, accessibility, and client/user benefits are also evaluated by the judges.

Hot & Heavy is a loose lay product that requires no adhesive. It is made with 59% recycled content. It is a 5 mm thick, large format tile, 9”x59”, one of the largest formats available today.

European suppliers have been making the large format LVT for some time, but Mohawk is the first in the U.S. to offer it.
