Stoughton, MA, July 12, 2013 -- Debolon Flooring from Mats Inc. has received the 2013 Green Good Design Award from the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies and the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
Debolon ranked in The Green Design 100, which recognizes the top 100 worldwide product designs, architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning projects.
Debolon Research and Design engineers replaced phthalate plasticizers with domestic sugar beets (citric acid esters) as a natural, sustainable softener in its sheet vinyl flooring.
This advancement has been incorporated into all four of the Debolon Collections.
