League of Hard Flooring Professionals Forms

New York, NY, July 15, 2013 -- An organization called the League of Hard Flooring Professionals, a non-profit group focused on hard surface flooring and floor care, has been formed.

RD Weis Companies said it is the first business to join.

The group's inaugural meeting, the "Ultimate Authority" Technical Symposium, will take place July 29 in Tampa.

The association comprises many of the most knowledgeable people in the flooring industry, according to a press release.

Dedicated to all categories of hard flooring material, they represent flooring's life cycle, from design to disposal.

According to its president, Stan Hulin, the League's mission is ... "to provide a centralized source of nationally recognized experts in the hard flooring industry for federal, state and municipal agencies, and legislative and judicial bodies; and to provide education and training to the private sector, by offering educational programs, materials and public speakers regarding hard flooring issues, product developments, and human health and safety concerns."
