Home Rental Prices Increase in January
New York, NY, Feb. 20, 2015 -- Home rental prices continued to rise in January across the country, although they remained flat in some areas of the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, real estate data firm Zillow said.
Rental prices increased a seasonally-adjusted 3.3% in January compared to a year ago.
However, in Chicago rents have fallen 0.5% and Minneapolis rents have declined 0.3%.
On the high end, rents surged 16.2% in Fort Myers, Florida.
