Gruppo Concorde To Built Plant in Tennessee

Nashville, TN, March 6, 2015—Global tile manufacturing conglomerate Gruppo Concorde will build its first U.S. factory on nearly 100 acres in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, reports the Nashville Post.

The company will hire 180 people to operate the plant.

According to the Nashville Post, Concorde's UST Inc. division will invest about $80 million to build the 600,000 square foot facility.

Gruppo Concorde, parent company of Atlas Concorde, plans to start production in the second half of 2016. 

Concorde will be the sixth manufacturer to produce tile in Tennessee, joining Del Conca, Crossville, Stonepeak/Fiandre, Florim and Dal-Tile.
