Ecore Sponsors Build-A-Bike Event for Starnet Betterhalves

Lancaster, PA, May 13, 2015—Ecore was the main sponsor of the Starnet Betterhalves' philanthropic and networking event Build-A-Bike at the 2015 Starnet spring meeting in Tucson, Arizona, which built bikes for children of families sustaining the loss of a parent or sibling.

Fifty-two men and women in the flooring industry or related to someone in the Starnet consortium built seven bicycles for local Tucson kids, almost all of whom had never owned or ridden a bicycle.

These bikes were then provided to Tu Nidito, which means “little nest” in Spanish, a local organization where Tucson children can go to receive support after the diagnosis of a terminal illness in a loved one or a death of a sibling or parent.
