Washington, DC, Dec. 21, 2012 -- Durable goods orders increased in November for the sixth time in seven months, but at a slower pace, the Commerce Department said.
Overall orders for durable goods were up 0.7% last month from October to a seasonally adjusted $220.94 billion. Orders in October rose a revised 1.1%.
Stronger orders for machinery and motor vehicles and parts offset slowing demand for aircraft.
Excluding transportation, November orders were up 1.6%.
