Shanghai, China, March 25, 2014 -- More than 1,200 international and Chinese top and emerging exhibitors from about 35 countries are exhibiting all types of flooring this week at Domotex Asia.
The show is strongly focusing on two key topics for the future of the flooring industry: "Green" and "Innovation," according to organizers.
For the first time in 2014 the environmental awards for flooring, GreenStep Awards, are being introduced in Asia to recognize and promote those companies and individuals who embody the principles of environmental stewardship in Asia.
GreenStep Asia Awards also aims at helping Asian company to expand their business in mature markets such as North America and Europe by leveraging on their achievements in sustainability.
InnovAction flooring, the promotion campaign for the most innovative flooring, is back in 2014 for its second edition.
The online services for this campaign have been optimized in 2014 by offering visitors and exhibitors an interactive platform helping the match-making between offer and demand before the show. The quality of the new products presented has also been improved by introducing a selection and voting system.
More than 42,000 professional visitors from 107 countries attended Domotex Asia last year.
Some of this year conferences titles are: Hospitality Design Salon (which is part of the Shanghai Architect Fair held concurrently within the show); China Wood Flooring Retails Forum; the 2nd China Hospital Environment Construction & Materials Applications Forum; 2014 T.H.E Flooring Tech Forum; China Warehouse and Logistic Forum.
