Consumer Sentiment Falls in Early November

Ann Arbor, MI, Nov. 8, 2013 -- The University of Michigan/Thomson Reuters consumer-sentiment index fell 72 in early November from a final October reading of 73.2.

That was the lowest reading since December of 2011.

Economists had expected the gauge to rise to 75 in early November due to the end of the government shutdown.
